New DFW Affordable Senior Living to Open This Fall

Mustang Creek Estates will build a 42,000-square-foot assisted living and memory care community in Sachse, Texas. The new development will comprise six homes, each housing up to 16 seniors.

Mustang Creek Estates has begun constructing a 90-unit assisted living and memory care community in Sachse, Texas. The company will invest $7.5 million in the 42,000-square-foot facility, which is expected to open this fall.

The community, located at 900 Ranch Road, will comprise six homes, each housing up to 16 seniors. Residents will have access to assisted care, as well as to daily activities. The homes will include an open kitchen, 24-hour staff and emergency call systems. Monthly rates range from $3,250 to $5,175. Designed by Joseph Helmberger of Kimley-Horn, this is the fifth senior living community the company brings to the Dallas/Fort Worth market. The community’s architect is Scott Roberts of Creative Architects.

“The town of Sachse is growing fast and there is a real need for affordable assisted living and memory care communities,” Renee Ramsey, CEO of Mustang Creek Estates, said in prepared remarks.

The new community was announced less than a month after Cornerstone Senior Living expanded its operations to Texas by acquiring a 60-unit, 72-bed assisted living and memory care community in Forney, Texas.
